Hands off our Auditors!!
In an exclusive scoop for Simon Says, there is groundbreaking news that an auditor from a reputable undisclosed global audit company was actually being harassed in her client’s place. Even though such incidents are thought to be rare, this incident highlighted the peril of this noble profession.
The victim, Ms Threesa* broke down into uncontrollable crying as she recalled the incident, “He introduced me to his fellow colleagues as if I am his someone special. He even asked me for my mobile number! Later he asks me to go storeroom to vouch documents how?”
Her mentor, Ms Beng Li* consoled her, “Walau, he don’t have much money and has a middle management position only. Lidat also want to chase her. Lao di gou ah!” “Somemore he’s short”, added Ms Threesa in between her sobs while glancing at her vertically-challenged friend, Mr Si-Pi-Shee*.
This has become a major concern for not only female auditors but male auditors as well. Mr Yixuan* who is from the same audit company, exclaimed, “How can we work with a peaceful mind when there are such predators out there? I demand maximum protection, especially for Beiyan*, I mean for ALL female auditors, until this danger has passed!” When probed further, Mr Yixuan conceded that a demonstration is planned and it involves him marching down Shenton Way wearing nothing but a pair of Superman brief to hit home his point.
The chairman of the audit firm was unavailable for comments at press time.

K, since I'm so bored at client's place doing nothing. I shall blog about a conversation that took place over supper one fine Friday. Here's a food trivia. JB Outing 2 - 19th Nov
Hah ok the photos basically sums up the 'highlight' of the trip!! (Pardon me, I'm not as skilled on PS as Joycey!)
We met up at Kranji last Sunday, and 'as usual' Mr KYX was late and Mr CKK was on his way from Expo, so some of us went in first to get tickets for Happy Feet!
It was a nice movie, cept that the seats weren't very comfy and we came out having some strained necks and back!
Next, we went to the ONLY provision store in City Sq to stock up on our fave snacks and lo and behold, guess who shopped the most?? it's HOINING!! Yongxiang can second to that, coz he kept saying "die die die! I wan to buy everything!!" :P
Off we go to 大马花园 for seafood after that! You should have seen me and Hoining's eyes, they were super big when we saw the WHOLE table full of seafood!! I almost went crazy, and if I din rem wrongly, I was busy eating for whole half hour, before I felt that I was quite full from all the food! :P
We spent on average 30RM per pax and it was really worth it. Yuxuan was saying he finally found people to eat those shelled seafood w him!

Interesting...
A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose. Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil, without saying a word. In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl.
Turning to her daughter, she asked, "Tell me, what do you see?" "Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied. Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, "What does it mean, mother?"
Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity ... boiling water. Each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.
"Which are you?" she asked her daughter. "When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?"
